CD85k, known as Immunoglobulin-like transcript (ILT) 3, is an inhibitory receptor expressed by dendritic cells and a subset of white blood cells called monocytes. ILT3, also known as Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor subfamily B member 4 (LILRB4) and Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-like Receptor 5 (LIR-5), is a type I membrane protein that contains cytoplasmic ITIM motifs and is involved in the down-regulation of immune responses. Expression of ILT3 is up-regulated on tolerogenic dendritic cells.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤2.0microg per million cells in 100 microL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
