Description

B-cell lymphoma 6 (Bcl-6), is an 80 kD homodimer, member of the BTB-POZ zinc finger family. It contains 1 BTB (POZ) domain and 6 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Bcl-6 is a transcriptional repressor, master regulator of germinal center reaction. On B cells, Bcl-6 induces proliferation, antibody class switch and affinity maturation, while inhibits its differentiation to plasma cells. On T cells, Bcl-6 induces its differentiation to TFH. This molecule is also expressed in some B cell lymphomas and breast cancer cells.

Formulation

Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) BSA (origin USA).

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular flow cytometry . For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 microL per million cells or 5 microL per 100 microL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

* PE/Dazzle™ 594 has a maximum excitation of 566 nm and a maximum emission of 610 nm.
