The FP7000 uses Automated Setup beads for optical alignment, voltage optimization, laser delay adjustment, sort and side stream calibration. Undiluted beads are used as part of daily QC and instrument setup. To save the lot information of the Automated Setup beads, the bead lot file should be imported into the software prior to using this lot.

To update the bead lot information:

1. Download and save the bead lot file using the link above.
2. Unzip/extract the compressed zip file.
3. Start the FP7000 software, select the Setup tab on the left, and click on Import Bead Lot File.
4. Select the extracted bead lot file and click Open.
