Harnessing the Power of Multiparameter Cell Selection to Enable Innovative Cell Therapies
At Advanced Therapies Week 2025 in Dallas, Texas, Sony hosted a presentation and panel discussion, inviting leading experts in cell therapy manufacturing to explore how multiparameter cell selection can drive innovative cell therapies. Dr. Nathalie Belmont of Quell Therapeutics shared their expertise in manufacturing precise Regulatory T-cell therapies, highlighting new approaches to treating severe immune disorders, offering long-term control to patients with autoimmune diseases. Dr. Aditi Singh from Sony Biotechnology followed by discussing the advantages of Sony's CGX10 Cell Isolation System and its utility in the precise production of Treg therapy and other multiparameter-dependent manufacturing processes. In the second part of the session, the speakers were joined by experts such as Dr. Daniele Malleo from Cellares and Dr. Lisa O’Flynn from Avectas. Together, they discussed the critical role of multiparameter cell selection in overcoming challenges related to producing cell products with sufficient purity and functionality, and how new solutions collaborate to address these challenges while ensuring commercially viable scalability. The session offered valuable perspectives on advancing the future of cell and gene therapy manufacturing.
